Created in 1984 in Recife, Pernambuco, Mundo Livre S/A was one of the founding bands of the resounding Manguebeat movement – a mixture of regional rhythms, rock and eletronic music. As one of the main idealists of this movement, the band achieved vast recognition for its innovative sound, lyrics and presentations.

Born in a neighbourhood filled with music, Moyses Marques soon discovered the beatiful sounds of samba. With a vast repertoire, he is pointed a skillfull new generation interpreter.

Gamera, the giant flying turtle returns to save humanity when an alien spacecraft approaches Earth intent on world domination. Gamera destroys the alien ship, but a second craft captures two boy scouts to shield them from Gamera. The aliens then place a control device on Gamera to make him attack Tokyo. The boys foul their plans when they manage to reverse the controls and Gamera confronts the squid-like beings in a climactic battle.

Meet Mark and Jeremy, twenty-something former Dartmouth University alumni (although Jez technically never finished his degree) and slightly mad denizens of Apollo House, South London. Mark is the sensible one: a professional brogue wearer with a slightly worrying interest in World War Two. Jeremy is the loose cannon: a lazy waster with dodgy friends, who dreams of becoming a musician, but can never get his act together, or often even get up in the morning. Their lives together have taken in smoking dope in the lazer bowl toilets, affairs, possible homosexuality, rainbow rhythms, and a broader understanding of the siege of Stalingrad and now Mark seems to be about to get hitched.
