The Rip

The Rip is taken from British alternative band and trip-hop pioneers Portishead’s 2008 studio album Third. The stylish animated video was created by Nick Uff who works entirely in 16mm film. "Animated films cannot stand still… they can be quite difficult on the eye, especially in the style I use, it's very busy, a bit scratchy" says Nick Uff and he’d be right, it’s a stunning video.
