Saiyuki

A long time ago there existed a place called Paradise where humans and evil spirits coexisted in harmony. Then one day a negative spiritual wave spread over this world and the evil spirits and monsters became violent and started attacking humans.

Goku meets a wounded girl named Ho-May whose friend was killed by one of the evil creatures. Goku can not tell her he is one in disguise. Our hereos are ambushed by spider-women disguised as traveling entertainers.

The quartet visit a huge temple where all the priests live a strict life of no drinking, smoking or tangible things. Sanzo partakes of the forbidden sins. Evil assassins attack the temple.

Sha Gojyo is surprised to hear of a monster named the same as his missing brother-in-law, Gee-Yen. The townspeople tell them t hat the monster that attacked the humans in the forest looked like Gee-Yen.

Cheer-Rat wants to please her master Kogaiji so she begins to plot. Her master wants her to poison our heroes in a restaurant.

Our heroes hear a rumor of a savior who destroys evil spirts and monsters who is called Rick-Do. Rick-Do is actually a fortuneteller that is possessed by a fetish talisman.

Our hereos meet a dubious fortuneteller named, Chi-Ih-So as a bazaar market. Chin Ih-So reveals Hakkai's past.

When Sanzo is severely injured, the head ring of Goku's head ring comes off and this controls the balance of his magic. Goku loses control and becomes delirious.

Our hereos and the band of Kogaiji engage in a fierce battle. The monster crab controlled by an evil sorcerer appears again.

Sanzo and his comrades arrive in a village where the townsfolks believe the story that their village was saved by the priest Sanzo. A false party of Sanzo appears and our heroes are mistaken for imposters.

When Sha Gojyo talks to Hakkai, a puppet controlled by Chi Is-So attacks him. Sha Gojyo is injected with the seed from a blood sucking plant but the seed cannot be removed as it's too close to his heart.

Sha Gojyo meets a girl at a mall and she asks him to kill a monster which had killed her parents. Sah Gojyo is lead to the monster's hideout but it is too late for him to realize it was a trap to induce him.

Sha-Gojyo remembers what happened to him 3 years ago; hat he helped a man named Chogo-Noh that was lying on the roadside. Sanzo is ordered by the Trinity Gods to arrest the man who has killed many monsters and thi man is Chogo-Noh.

Goku finally comes back to himself and jumps on Homura. This increases Goku's power due to his rage. Homura takes off the chains from his hands and releases his true powers. Homura's strength is devastating and Goku's comrades want to ehlp him but his says he wants to defeat the god by himself.

A platoon of 5 skilled warriors wants to join the army of the Celestial Heavens and comes to see Prince Homura. Prince Homura orders t hem to destroy Sanzo's party and get the magic sutra.

Our heroes visit a temple where they grow a strange shape of fruit. Sanzo senses something is wrong with the temple and they decide to leave but before they can leave Goku slips into a nightmare.

The Celestial army destroys the monster warriors and soliders in Castle Houto. Kogaiji and his followers are surprised but then realize the three self professed Gods are his father, Gyumao-Bull Satan.

Goku was born 500 years agon in the Celestial Heavens froma stone and brought to the Goddess of Mercy - Kanzeon Bosatsu. Goku meets a boy called Nataku who is the Lord of War and is th eonly person in the Celestial Heavens who is allowed to kill. He receives an order so subjugate the great monster, Bull Satan.

500 years ago in Celestial Heavens, Konzen takes Goku to Tenpoh, grand central of the entire force of Celestial Heavens. Nataku receives a new order of subjugation from Li-Tohten again but his wounds hav enot healed yet. General Kenren want sto take his order but he gets refused and punished to his indecent behavior.

Chin-Ih-So approaches our heroes because Hakkai destroyed his family. He plots to cause Hakkai to go insame but insteads tricks him to attack Sanzo.

Sanzo and his comrades run into an old friend of Sah Gojyo and Hakkai named Tonpoo. Tonpoo tells them tha he volunteereda milita called Fanron Troop tha is assembled of only human beings that hunt down evil monsters.

Kogaiji visits the tomb of the girl he loved. Kogaiji swears the revenge to Son Goku and his teammates who defeated him in the battle of Hoto Castle.

Sanzo and his party walk into a village where Cho-Hakkai grew up in an orphanage. He meets Sister Shaohei who spent her childhood in the same orphanage.

Goku wants to see Nataku and sneaks into the Great Palace. He meets Kenren, the Commander General of the Army of Celestial Heavens. Kenren, who is the previous existance of Sha Gojyo, is surprised to see Goku chained with weights on both hands and legs.

God Homura and his two fellow gods are ready to being the Creation of New World bu they need Sanzo's Sutra of Dark Power to accomplish their plan. Homura tells Sanzo to bestow the Sutra by the next morning but Sanzo has nfo intention to give it out. Our heroes will have a hard battle against the gods.

Sanzo and his comrades get lost in the deep woods and have to sleep in the open. Sha-Gojyo does not like this idea and keeps on walking to find a way out. He finds a cave and realizes he is now lost.

Our heroes defeat the monsters in the woods and join a drinking competition in town. They win but the prize is much more unexpected!

Sanzo's party arrives in a town called Saika on the day of Festival of god. The god they worship here is Shien. Lilin learns that Shien and two other gods took the Hallowed Sutra from Gyokumen-Koshu.

Zeon hears that One of the Sutras of World Commencement was found in a villageso he visits the village to find out if it is true. Meanwhile in a neighboring village our heroes hear a rumor of a monster devouring human's spirits.

The creation of New World of Homura, Shien and Zeon has begun and Sanzo and his comrades go to the Tower of Konran where Homura's party is supposed to wait for them. Instead our heroes are attacked by the force of monsters lead by Gairu. More enemies are waiting.

Chogo-Noh flees into the woods but is attacked by Crow-Man who family Chogo-Noh had killed. Crow-Man is shocked by Chogo-Noh's strength.

Sanzo and his comrades are stunned to find numerous stoned monsters in a town called Tofu-Gai. Just as Goku, Sha-Gojyo and Cho Hakkai arrived they turn into stone statues as well since they are monsters as well.

Abandoning the Celestial Heavens to build a new world, they choose the tower and castle made by Monster King Gailu and his warriors as their headquarters. The army of Celestial Heavens led by three self professed Gods begin to attackk to size the tower.

Our heroes walk into a desolate village and wonder what has happened here. Four coffins of equal size to our heroes appear along with a creature called The Undertaker.

Our heroes meet the paraty of the bogus Sanzo again. Then the party of bogus heroes remembers their pride as the best impostors of the world and devise a plot to revenge the true heroes.

Sanzo becomes depressed in the constant rain so Goku tries to cheer him up. But it is no use as Sanzo gets more irritated and throws thorny words at Goku.

Our heroes meet four sisters and befriend them. Soon after they leave the sisters, they come targets of an assassination.

Goku and Sha Gojyo enter a village in search of food and encounter a young monterh named Yan-Min. Yan-Min's husband is a human looking monster so the villagers despise her for having a monster's baby.

Goku resists the attack of Homura's Royal Guards single handedly so that his comrades can go into the Tower to find Homura. The enemy uses an artifice called Work fo Repentance forcing a person to remember the old wounds in the heart. Goku is stunned when he sees his mother in law crying in front of him.

Our heroes venture into the desert and fall into quck sand. It is a trap set up by the desert monster who believes he will get eternal life if he eats a priest of great virtue.

Goku takes out his read ring but his senses of judgment has gone. He can not recognize his friends or enemies. So he attacks whoever he catches in his sight.

Our heroes come to a Village that is having a ceremony that offers a sacrifice to the evil monster rulling the folks. Hakkai is stunned by the girl of sacrifice as she ooks like his late girl friend, Kanan.

The Iron Demon Troop assaults Sanzo and his comrades but is completely destroyed by our heroes' power. Rashu, the leader of the troop survives, and sets a trap to capture Sanzo and Goku.

While our heroes are struggling in a snow storm, they meet a young monster, Shoryu, who manipulates snow, ice and water skillfully. Sanzo and three warriors are made a fool of by Shoryu's attack which is empowered by an evil forbidden spell.

Five skilled warriors of the Celestial Heavens pop up in front of our heroes again as they want to take the Sutra of Dark Power from Sanzo and force Son Goku to come to their side.

Sanzo's party and Kogaiji's group finally confront Homura, Shien and Zeon. Sanzo wants to take back his Sutra of Dark Power and Kogaiji has to get the Hallowed Sutra. When the battle begins, Shien releases his true power over to our hereos and Kogaiji's group.

Five Sutras possessed by Sanzo and his comrades are needed for reviving Gyumao the Bull Satan. Kogaiji, the son of Bull Satan, crosses the desert and meets our heroes. Kogaiji challenges Sanzo to be duel but Sanzo has been weakended by scorpion poison.

Lilin, the young sisters of Kogaiji challenges our heroes. Her trick does not work on our heroes but instead works on 3 stupid monsters. Lilin defeats them and they become her followers.

Our heroes encounter new enemies from the heavens that are not human or monsters. They call themselves "Gods" and one of them is after Sanzo's Sutra of Dark Power.

Zeon also releases his true power and this combined power of two gods overwhelms everybody in the battle field. Sanzo is ambused by Goku, who is still controlled by the Work of Repentance, and attacks anyone in his way.
