Kisaragi receives a call that Reika and R3 will perform in the Musicpolis Contest. The recording company that R3 is with is about to be purchased by Kaibara's Financial Combine. Kaibara's doting on Nozomi is out of control so Madoka decides to tell Nozomi the truth about her past.

On the day of the Musicpolis Contest, Reika senses that the three girls in R3 are Kisaragi's daughters. Akari realizes that the jewels in the crown that Reika received are the same stones that she and her sisters have. Kisaragi and the three sisters are speechless. They have a reunion in front of Yo's grave as Shiro and Reika are looking on.

Akari, Yuuki and Nozomi are all enrolled in Class S. This stirs up visions of the past for Kisaragi. All the while, Yuuki is gaining a following of fans through her performances on the street.

Jun is not getting along with Akari and Nozomi. This starts to make Kisaragi want to give up on making them a group. Shiro has discovered Yuuki and tells Kisaragi about her.

Kisaragi senses something in Yuuki's songs and tries to put her into Class S with the other two girls. As all three girls are walking home one day, Yuuki sings a song that reminds Akari of her childhood. Yuuki is also wearing a pair of earrings that look like the same stone in Akari's necklace. This makes Akari wonder who Yuuki is.

After Akari tells Samuel about the song Yuuki sung and the jewelry, Samuel tells Akari about her childhood. Akari and Yuuki are shocked to learn that they are two out of three sisters. Kaito has an accident and dies. This causes Akari to fall into despair.

Akari returns to school but is very lonesome. Yuuki convinces the other two girls to come join her in a street performance. Kisaragi just happens to hear them and realizes they should very good together. She takes a very strong interest in the three girls and make thems a group called R3. Kisaragi has them sing at a Debut Audition which is being sponsored by a recording company.

At the M&K audition, the three girls face off against Jun. Shiro and Kisaragi are confident the girls will do well. The girls are not so confident and as they are talking they soon develop a strong confidence in themselves.

And one student who just flat out lies to her own mother – which causes all kinds of problems. But let’s not forget the teachers. They seem to be just as big of a mess as their students.

The girls pass the audition and start preparing for their debut CD. Kaibara worries that Nozomi will start to pull away from him. He fears of Nozomi's past.

Sales of the girls CD rise steadily and they finally have their first hit on the charts. Seeing the three girls reminds Kisaragi of her lost daughters and her past memories of winning best new singer. Reika becomes jealous of the developing relationship between Kisaragi and the three girls. This reminds Reika of her past and she begins to suffer greatly.

Memories of Kisaragi's past play over and over in her mind. We see Kisaragi in her idol days and then all comes crashing down. Kisaragi is shocked to find out that the three girls in R3 were found on a beach in the north along a coast that was very much like where she had thrown her family into.

Sanzo becomes depressed in the constant rain so Goku tries to cheer him up. But it is no use as Sanzo gets more irritated and throws thorny words at Goku.

Goku finally comes back to himself and jumps on Homura. This increases Goku's power due to his rage. Homura takes off the chains from his hands and releases his true powers. Homura's strength is devastating and Goku's comrades want to ehlp him but his says he wants to defeat the god by himself.

Our heroes defeat the monsters in the woods and join a drinking competition in town. They win but the prize is much more unexpected!

Goku wants to see Nataku and sneaks into the Great Palace. He meets Kenren, the Commander General of the Army of Celestial Heavens. Kenren, who is the previous existance of Sha Gojyo, is surprised to see Goku chained with weights on both hands and legs.

Goku was born 500 years agon in the Celestial Heavens froma stone and brought to the Goddess of Mercy - Kanzeon Bosatsu. Goku meets a boy called Nataku who is the Lord of War and is th eonly person in the Celestial Heavens who is allowed to kill. He receives an order so subjugate the great monster, Bull Satan.

Sanzo's party arrives in a town called Saika on the day of Festival of god. The god they worship here is Shien. Lilin learns that Shien and two other gods took the Hallowed Sutra from Gyokumen-Koshu.

Zeon hears that One of the Sutras of World Commencement was found in a villageso he visits the village to find out if it is true. Meanwhile in a neighboring village our heroes hear a rumor of a monster devouring human's spirits.

God Homura and his two fellow gods are ready to being the Creation of New World bu they need Sanzo's Sutra of Dark Power to accomplish their plan. Homura tells Sanzo to bestow the Sutra by the next morning but Sanzo has nfo intention to give it out. Our heroes will have a hard battle against the gods.

The creation of New World of Homura, Shien and Zeon has begun and Sanzo and his comrades go to the Tower of Konran where Homura's party is supposed to wait for them. Instead our heroes are attacked by the force of monsters lead by Gairu. More enemies are waiting.

Goku resists the attack of Homura's Royal Guards single handedly so that his comrades can go into the Tower to find Homura. The enemy uses an artifice called Work fo Repentance forcing a person to remember the old wounds in the heart. Goku is stunned when he sees his mother in law crying in front of him.

500 years ago in Celestial Heavens, Konzen takes Goku to Tenpoh, grand central of the entire force of Celestial Heavens. Nataku receives a new order of subjugation from Li-Tohten again but his wounds hav enot healed yet. General Kenren want sto take his order but he gets refused and punished to his indecent behavior.

Sanzo's party and Kogaiji's group finally confront Homura, Shien and Zeon. Sanzo wants to take back his Sutra of Dark Power and Kogaiji has to get the Hallowed Sutra. When the battle begins, Shien releases his true power over to our hereos and Kogaiji's group.

Zeon also releases his true power and this combined power of two gods overwhelms everybody in the battle field. Sanzo is ambused by Goku, who is still controlled by the Work of Repentance, and attacks anyone in his way.

Our heroes meet the paraty of the bogus Sanzo again. Then the party of bogus heroes remembers their pride as the best impostors of the world and devise a plot to revenge the true heroes.

Five skilled warriors of the Celestial Heavens pop up in front of our heroes again as they want to take the Sutra of Dark Power from Sanzo and force Son Goku to come to their side.

Kogaiji visits the tomb of the girl he loved. Kogaiji swears the revenge to Son Goku and his teammates who defeated him in the battle of Hoto Castle.

Sanzo and his comrades get lost in the deep woods and have to sleep in the open. Sha-Gojyo does not like this idea and keeps on walking to find a way out. He finds a cave and realizes he is now lost.

The Celestial army destroys the monster warriors and soliders in Castle Houto. Kogaiji and his followers are surprised but then realize the three self professed Gods are his father, Gyumao-Bull Satan.

Sanzo and his party walk into a village where Cho-Hakkai grew up in an orphanage. He meets Sister Shaohei who spent her childhood in the same orphanage.

While our heroes are struggling in a snow storm, they meet a young monster, Shoryu, who manipulates snow, ice and water skillfully. Sanzo and three warriors are made a fool of by Shoryu's attack which is empowered by an evil forbidden spell.

Our heroes encounter new enemies from the heavens that are not human or monsters. They call themselves "Gods" and one of them is after Sanzo's Sutra of Dark Power.

Abandoning the Celestial Heavens to build a new world, they choose the tower and castle made by Monster King Gailu and his warriors as their headquarters. The army of Celestial Heavens led by three self professed Gods begin to attackk to size the tower.

A platoon of 5 skilled warriors wants to join the army of the Celestial Heavens and comes to see Prince Homura. Prince Homura orders t hem to destroy Sanzo's party and get the magic sutra.

The Iron Demon Troop assaults Sanzo and his comrades but is completely destroyed by our heroes' power. Rashu, the leader of the troop survives, and sets a trap to capture Sanzo and Goku.

Our heroes walk into a desolate village and wonder what has happened here. Four coffins of equal size to our heroes appear along with a creature called The Undertaker.

Sha-Gojyo remembers what happened to him 3 years ago; hat he helped a man named Chogo-Noh that was lying on the roadside. Sanzo is ordered by the Trinity Gods to arrest the man who has killed many monsters and thi man is Chogo-Noh.

Chogo-Noh flees into the woods but is attacked by Crow-Man who family Chogo-Noh had killed. Crow-Man is shocked by Chogo-Noh's strength.

Sanzo and his comrades run into an old friend of Sah Gojyo and Hakkai named Tonpoo. Tonpoo tells them tha he volunteereda milita called Fanron Troop tha is assembled of only human beings that hunt down evil monsters.

Sha Gojyo meets a girl at a mall and she asks him to kill a monster which had killed her parents. Sah Gojyo is lead to the monster's hideout but it is too late for him to realize it was a trap to induce him.

Sanzo and his comrades are stunned to find numerous stoned monsters in a town called Tofu-Gai. Just as Goku, Sha-Gojyo and Cho Hakkai arrived they turn into stone statues as well since they are monsters as well.

Our heroes meet four sisters and befriend them. Soon after they leave the sisters, they come targets of an assassination.

Five Sutras possessed by Sanzo and his comrades are needed for reviving Gyumao the Bull Satan. Kogaiji, the son of Bull Satan, crosses the desert and meets our heroes. Kogaiji challenges Sanzo to be duel but Sanzo has been weakended by scorpion poison.

Our heroes venture into the desert and fall into quck sand. It is a trap set up by the desert monster who believes he will get eternal life if he eats a priest of great virtue.

Goku takes out his read ring but his senses of judgment has gone. He can not recognize his friends or enemies. So he attacks whoever he catches in his sight.

Goku and Sha Gojyo enter a village in search of food and encounter a young monterh named Yan-Min. Yan-Min's husband is a human looking monster so the villagers despise her for having a monster's baby.

Lilin, the young sisters of Kogaiji challenges our heroes. Her trick does not work on our heroes but instead works on 3 stupid monsters. Lilin defeats them and they become her followers.

Our heroes come to a Village that is having a ceremony that offers a sacrifice to the evil monster rulling the folks. Hakkai is stunned by the girl of sacrifice as she ooks like his late girl friend, Kanan.

Our heroes hear a rumor of a savior who destroys evil spirts and monsters who is called Rick-Do. Rick-Do is actually a fortuneteller that is possessed by a fetish talisman.

Sha Gojyo is surprised to hear of a monster named the same as his missing brother-in-law, Gee-Yen. The townspeople tell them t hat the monster that attacked the humans in the forest looked like Gee-Yen.

When Sanzo is severely injured, the head ring of Goku's head ring comes off and this controls the balance of his magic. Goku loses control and becomes delirious.

Cheer-Rat wants to please her master Kogaiji so she begins to plot. Her master wants her to poison our heroes in a restaurant.

Our hereos meet a dubious fortuneteller named, Chi-Ih-So as a bazaar market. Chin Ih-So reveals Hakkai's past.

Our hereos and the band of Kogaiji engage in a fierce battle. The monster crab controlled by an evil sorcerer appears again.

When Sha Gojyo talks to Hakkai, a puppet controlled by Chi Is-So attacks him. Sha Gojyo is injected with the seed from a blood sucking plant but the seed cannot be removed as it's too close to his heart.

Sanzo and his comrades arrive in a village where the townsfolks believe the story that their village was saved by the priest Sanzo. A false party of Sanzo appears and our heroes are mistaken for imposters.

Chin-Ih-So approaches our heroes because Hakkai destroyed his family. He plots to cause Hakkai to go insame but insteads tricks him to attack Sanzo.

The quartet visit a huge temple where all the priests live a strict life of no drinking, smoking or tangible things. Sanzo partakes of the forbidden sins. Evil assassins attack the temple.

Pseudo is now connected to the Lemon game and the Lemon is changing his shape. Pseudo can not use his weapons now so Bewefau and Mint join the game to help him. They then are logged out of the game so this leaves Pseudo locked into the game space. Hestia finds out that Tiel's biochip has also been restored and can communicate with Cora. Moderato learns the identity of Pseudo and the Lemon once Hestia projects Tiel's chip onto the monitor.

Cora wants to combine Tiel with herself but Hestia tells her not to as it will have horrible consequences. Hestia realizes Cora thinks Pseudo is her father, Dr. Pluto, and asks Psuedo to deal with Cora's hurt feelings. Cora remembers the happy times with her Father so she is about to give up on the idea of combining with PX-1. This upsets Hadmin greatly because he has be dreaming of this day for a long time.

Rino Rando has come to Miyagami Peninsula with her companion Pucchan in order to transfer to Miyagami Academy. But as soon as she gets there she finds out that her apartment and all her belongings have been burn down due to fire. Now she has no where to stay. Rino and Pucchan decide to head to Miyagami Academy for some help.

Rino who's been chosen to be the secretary of the Best Student Council moves to the Best Dormitory. Next day Rino is everyone’s conversation topic, but no one seems to understand why she was chosen to be the executive member of the student council on the first day she transferred in.

Accountant Mayura announces that Best Student Council is short with money, and either Assault Squad or Covert Squad will be forced to have zero budget next month. Now they face each other over the next month budget in the battle which determines who makes better curry and rice. Kaori who’s the only person that can cook in the Assault Squad leads the team. Now the Covert Squad challenges them with their secret weapon!

In order to determine how appropriate Rino is as the secretary of the Best Student Council, Kaori was picked to spend some time with Rino. As they start walking around inside the school facility they get approached by a member of the puppet theater club, asking for the help.

Hestia figures out that Tiel is with Pseudo and goes to the game room to find them. As all the members are watching the computer monitors, they see Tiel have a strange reaction to the Lemon Hall.

Bewefau asks Hadim about Tiel and PX-l. Hadim explains to Bewefau Dr. Pluto. Hadim asks Bewefau to stop playing the lemon game.

Rino is stunned to find President Kanade laying right next to her in the same bed in the morning! Others witness Kanade leaving Rino’s dorm room and that starts a rumor that Rno and Kanade have been payapaya.

Pseudo is having some weird memories so he goes to the temple to find Hestia. He is unable to locate Hestia because there are so many caves and no one seems to know where she lives. Pseudo leaves to go back to the game room and as he is arriving, he hears a scream from Tiel that is coming from the temple.

Pseudo and Tiel are able to escape from Pluto with the help of Bewefau and Mint. They all then run to the temple. Once at the festival and the drum beats start, Pseudo's memory chip is restored and he has Pluto's memory. Pseudo does not understand why he has this memory.

Hadim has Dupe move the Lemon game server to the main head quarters. Hestia is able to hack into the new server by using the channel Dupe made for her. Pseudo has a hard time battling with a small group of Lemons so Bewefau joins the game to help him out. A bond of friendship forms during this game between Pseudo and Bewefau.

Moderato is being to think Hestia and Riddle are the same person so he goes to Riddles' house to investigate. At the house, he meets up with Pseudo and both of them go down to the basement to check out Dr. Pluto's lab. Once in the lab, Pseudo beings to remember and experiment that was performed here and becomes unconscience.

During Pseudos' unconscienceness, he keeps on murmuring about PX-1. Hadim becomes upset once he learns from Dupe that Bewefau and Mint were able to break into the main system center.

Moderato goes to the temple to investigate a clue about Riddle. At the temple, Moderato is captured by Hestia but is able to run away. Pseudo goes to the temple to see Hestia and experiences strange memories. Bewefau and Mint learn that the Lemon game servier is related to the government.

Head quarters believes all the computer malfunctions are being caused by the Lemon game and the pirates that are broadcasting them. Hadim sends his secret agents to investigate Moderato. Since Hadim wants to control the game server, he makes Dupe the senior engineer of the system.

Hestia and Tiel go to Pluto's house to try to figure out Tiel's past. Bewefau and Mint follow Bomb to Pluto's house. Once Hadim finds out Bewefau and Mint are there, he sends his secret agent to retreive Bewefau. The agents shock both of their biochips and they lose conscienceness.

Bewefau figures out his Father is a sponsor of the Lemon game. Mint and Bewefau are both grounded after being caught by the secret agents.

Pseudo was seriously injuried during the previous game. Moderato becomes concerned tha the Lemon game might put kids into danger and does not want to keep going. Bewefau meets up with Dupe and he asks him about the cuff buttons he found at Dr. Pluto's house. Dupe will not tell Bewefau what he knows.

Bewefau was hurt during the battle with a Lemon Cyclops and is in the hospital. As Hadim is leaving Bewefau's hospital room, Mint shows up for a visit and begins to suspect that Hadim is Bewefau's Father. Moderato wants the Lemon game to stop and tells Riddle this. Riddle does not and persuades Moderato to continue the game.

Bewefau encounters a ghost of a little girl that was in the lemon game while he was in the hospital hallway. Moderato and Pseudo find a photo of this same little girl. Hadim goes to the temple and sees Tiel standing on a cliff. This reminds him of a terrible accident that happened on the cliff a long time ago.

Pseudo humilates Mint at a public X-game. As Psuedo is running away from Mint, Bewefau takes his skateboard. Once in the game room, Bewefau watches Pseudo closely to see how good of a gamer he is.

Pseudo has a nightmare about Tiel so he goes to the temple. There he sees Tiel being kidnapped so he fights off the agents in order to save Tiel. Moderato goes to Pluto's house and runs into Hestia. He then realizes that Hestia and Riddle are the same person. Pseudo and Tiel endure a hallucination as they are looking at the lab downstairs.

Pseudo can not forget his hallucination from the Lemon game. Bewefau is jealous of Psuedo and will not accept him as a good gamer.

Moderato and Dupe blame each other for the fact that something went wrong with the game. Mint faints from the game.

Moderto discovers that the server for the Lemon game has been connected to the server at the nuclear power plant. This causes the reactor to explode

Moderato thinks the Lemon game server disappeared with Dupe so he decides to leave, not realizing the game is still around. The game is now connected to a stone statue and has become an entire game space.

Moderato fixes a game machine and receives a strange signal from it. The Lemon game is Berserk and it will not work as it has been programmed. Bewefau tries to confront Berserk.

Mints wants to meet Bewefau to learn more about the game and is shocked to learn how weird he is. Then she starts to follow Moderato around thus allowing her to become a member of the Spearheads.

Moderato realizes that the same accident that happened in the game also happened in real life. Dupe is arrested on suspicion of being the computer hacker.

Hadim becomes the mayor and at the reception, Mint runs into Bewefau again. Pseudo is upset that everyone thinks he was kicked out of the Spearheads because he is a poor gamer.

Bad weather affects the transmission of the AL Main Server, affecting the match between Misaki and Chitose.

The final battle before the Championship round is between Sai and Shuuko.

Icchan shows Misaki how to practice on Hikaru by dancing with music. Later on, she ends up having an Angelic Layer with Kyoko who uses electric whips which are not allowed to use at official games. Misaki cannot get away from the whips but manages to win the game by the dance movement she learned during the practice.

Misaki and Shuuko face each other for the first time in seven years.

Misaki is chosen to battle a member of the AL team in an exhibition match.

Misaki reviews tapes in preperation of her battle against Oojirou. Koatrou and Tamayo get stuck in an elevator.

Misaki and her friends take a day at the beach and run into Icchan and company.

Misaki pulls out all the stops in her battle against Oojirou.

Misaki learns how to turn the weak spot around.

Misaki must choose a Second to the Deus.

It's finally time for the match everyone has been waiting for!

Misaki and Hatoko head to the Zenkoku Tournament.

Hikaru’s next opponent is Vasqees who is a heavyweight Angel. There’s no chance for Hikaru to defeat if she smashes into Vasquees. So Misaki decides to try to win the game by getting more points without a direct fight.

Misaki & Hikaru have each won 8 games. All her friends are excited about it but Hatoko gives her the cold shoulder by saying she won’t go any further. Misaki’s opponent for the 9th game happens to be Hatoko.

Misaki’s next opponent is Maria Shibata. Maria’s Angel starts attacking Hikaru recklessly from the beginning but Misaki is still suffering the loss she made at the last game and cannot fight like her usual self.

Kaede's past is examained.

Ryo Misaki, Misaki’s classmate, says it must be some kind of bogus fight that Misaki won at Angelic Layer. He believes that boys must be stronger than girls at Angelic Layer because Angelic Layer is also a fighting game. Misaki ends up fighting against him to find out who is stronger, girls or boys?

Misaki faces the pop idol, Seto Ringo.

Misaki encounters some cheaters at a tournament.

Misaki overcomes the cheat and becomes a semi-finalist.

Misaki comes to Tokyo from Wakayama to live with her Aunt. Before she reaches her Aunt's house, she gets out at the Tokyo station by mistake. She sees Angelic Layer there for the first time and is amazed with it.

Misaki goes to the Tokyo area official tournament. Misaki fights against Katalina. While she cannot find any chance to attack Katalina, she remembers what Hatoko told her and she wins the fight.

Misaki starts school at Eriol Academy. On the way to school, she meets Hatoko and Kotaro who knows a lot about Angelic Layer. Icchan takes her to Piffle Princess, where she can practice or have a fight of Angelic Layer. By mistake, she has her very first fight there.

Misaki uses karate to overcome Hikaru's weaknesses.
