Software Engineer – Server Side Java
We are looking for bright, motivated and experienced technologists to join our New York City team in the Union Square area.
Must have a strong Java development background with at least 3 – 5 years experience with a concentration on the back-end server.
Experience with large-scale web-based java project (servlets and web frameworks) and exposure to java open source technologies (esp. apache)
Ability to build from scratch and to contribute to high-level architectural design.
Self starter and creative thinker with the ability to leverage your prior experience to create solutions and solve problems
Prior work experience in media, publishing or social networking a plus
Desire to start in a small multi-location environment and help grow the technology and culture towards a much larger enterprise
Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent real-world experience in developing, deploying and maintaining large scale java based web applications
