Requirements:

• Guru-level Javascript ability. Five-7 years of Javascript development.
• 2+ years of AJAX development experience. In-depth knowledge of available JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C++).
• Must understand the fundamentals of software development, including best practices.
• A fine understanding of cross-browser, front-end development issues.
• Expert-level CSS and HTML. The ability to create complex, tableless layouts implemented using CSS and semantically correct markup is a plus.
• Working knowledge of XML and XSLT. Experience implementing elegant XSL template structures to render complex designs is a plus.
• Experience working in a project-driven web development environment.
• Ability to manage one's time effectively to meet multiple, tight deadlines, and be highly proactive/self-directed.

Bonus:

• Previous work or demonstrated knowledge in social network deployment.
• Active understanding of collaborative filtering and recommendations engines, and how they translate to front-end production.
