When the Clampitt family makes a fortune by striking oil on their farm, they decide to move to Beverly Hills for a more sophisticated life. Comedy ensues, however, when the family continues to live their country lifestyle in the big city. This is a true classic of TV comedy.

In this classic sitcom, Lucy Carmichael is a widow with two children, trying to occupy her time with the help of friend Vivian Bagley. Lucy and Vivian are always full of silly ideas, but the family’s banker, Mr. Mooney controls the money that they need to make their dreams into reality. As time goes by, family and friends come and go and Lucy makes a move to California, but the laughs never stop.

The audience gets a glimpse into life as a TV writer in this delightful sitcom. Rob, Buddy, and Sally give their producer, Mel, plenty of grief. With an all-star cast featuring Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, and Carl Reiner.
