Marcelo Rodríguez Scilla created the Camerata Porteña in 1986. Its musical repertoire is based on contemporary tango music, performing pieces composed by Piazzolla and its own members Rodriguez Scilla & Borgo. Its musicians are soloists professors playing at the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional of Argentina and the Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires. Here the ensemble is performing Piazzollas pieces Invierno Porteño, La muerte del ángel, Verano porteño and Escualo.
