Bewitched (Sony Pictures TV)

In every way, Samantha and Darrin Stephens are a perfectly normal, all-American couple, except for one small detail...Samantha's a witch! And although she promised her husband on their wedding night never to use her powers, Samantha can't seem to resist performing a quick trick or two to get out of a jam. Further complicating matters is Samantha's mother, Endora, who is appalled that her daughter married a mere "mortal" and does her spell-assisted best to break them apart! Elizabeth Montgomery stars as Samantha Stephens, a pretty, typical American housewife who just happens to be a witch in this beloved comedy classic. This collection is the Emmy(r) Award-winning series of colorful episodes - that introduces one of the funniest ensemble casts in TV history. Dick York as Samantha's mortal husband Darrin, Agnes Moorehead as his witch of a mother-in-law Endora, Alice Pearce as nosy neighbor Gladys Kravitz, George Tobias as her oblivious husband Abner and Marion Lorne as dotty Aunt Clara. Join them and a who's who of '60s pop icon guest stars - Adam West, Raquel Welch, Peggy Lipton and Arte Johnson - in this enchanting, charming, and hysterically funny look at the suburban lifestyles of the witch and famous.

Maude (Sony Pictures TV)

An outspoken, independent woman anchors a suburban neighborhood. Gutsy, smart, outspoken and liberal -- all are terms that describe Beatrice Arthur in the title role of the TV series that spun off from the popular All in the Family. Well-educated and upper middle class, Maude Findlay is the archetypal feminist of her generation. She lives in suburban Tuckahoe, New York, with her fourth husband, Walter (Bill Macy), their divorced daughter, Carol (Adrienne Barbeau), and grandson Phillip. The cast also includes Rue McClanahan as Maude's best friend Vivian; Walter's best friend and neighbor Dr. Arthur Harmon (Conrad Bain); and over the course of the series, three different maids (Esther Rolle, Hermione Baddeley and Marlene Warfield). Tough issues like abortion, alcoholism, women's liberation, menopause and politics are all fodder for the show's sharp wit and social commentary.

Silver Spoons (Sony Pictures TV)

In the series opening twelve-year-old Ricky arrives at his unsuspecting father's mansion to introduce himself and move in. His mother Evelyn had placed him in military school after she remarried and thought Ricky would be in the way. Edward Stratton III was the epitome of the words "overgrown child" never having taken responsibility for anything in his lifetime. His lifestyle was that of a ten-year-old going as far as having video games and a scale freight train in the livingroom. Needless to say, he was surprised to discover that his seven day marriage to Evelyn Bluedhorn had produced a son. After originally sending Ricky back to boarding school, Edward changed his mind and brought his son home. Throughout the five years Silver Spoons, many changes occurred in the Stratton household. Ricky became a carefree, fun loving teenager while Edward became a responsible, loving father and husband. Edward courted and married his personal assistant, Kate Summers, and she provided them both with a loving, stable environment. The shows were filled with quality family entertainment while sharing messages about values, morals, the problems of growing up in the 1980s, along with a few very touching moments.
