Musicien génial et précoce, virtuose du bandolim, petite guitare typique du choro, Hamilton de Holanda n’est connu dans nos contrées que depuis peu de temps. Né en 1976 à Rio de Janeiro, le jeune musicien brésilien est un véritable phénomène. On le compare aux très grands du genre : Jacob do Bandolim, Joël Nascimento ou Armandinho Macedo. Il a ajouté une cinquième double corde à son instrument, a gagné à 19 ans le Prix d’interprétation du deuxième Festival de Choro de Rio de Janeiro, a formé un duo avec son frère guitariste qu’ils ont nommé « Dois de Ouro » (Duo en Or) et, lorsqu’il a son diplôme de l’École de Musique de Brasilia et son diplôme de composition à l’Université de Brasilia, il s’attaque à un Concerto pour orchestre et bandolim qu’il joue avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Brasilia.

Malcolm Goldie, the music and sound specialist of the PAM trio, records separately under the name of Daisy Daisy. The original composition was used in 'My Sky Is Erotic' from the Diesel Dreams campaign, but was later reworked and extended into a psychedelic-tinged electro pop single.

PAM's promo video builds on the hypnotic ping pong beat and explodes into a mind blowing mix of modernist architecture, alpine sceneries, 70's soft porn and domestic pets. Directed by PAM and released on Sunday Best in April 2006.

The video tells the story of a performing drag queen, played by Rickard Engfors, and his reluctant audience. Director Johan Renck manages to capture an extreme tension, and the influence music has on us all. Shot in a dingy suburb of Stockholm late 2003. Released on Rabid Records.
