Rex The Dog - Bubblicious
Directed by acclaimed director Geoffroy De Crecy (brother of Etiennne) and is basically just a cardboard DIY stop motion video. Taken from the “The Rex The Dog Show” album out on Hundehaus Records.
William Orbit - William Orbit
Track lifted from the album Pieces in a Modern Style which was a compilation of classical re-workings. Here in a Ferry Corsten remix, in a time (1999) when this type of club trance really wasn’t that cheesy. Video directed by the most talented Luke Losey.
Thomas Traum - 7DoDC-PT2
Video by Thomas Traum from The Digital Club. Music borrowed from the track ‘Sweet Love For Planet Earth’ by Fuck Buttons.
The Emperor Machine - Kananana
This is the full length version of the video for the single released in May 2009 on DC Recordings. The whole thing was directed by Cassiano Prado with help from the design circus La Boca. Prado is a freelance director and motion designer from São Paulo and has worked a lot with titles and promos for MTV.
Stimming - The Loneliness
Track taken from his debut album Reflections, released in April 2009 on Diynamic. Video production by Anselm Woesler and Laurenzius Mack.
Slagsmålsklubben - Slagsmålsklubben
About a school assignment to reinterpret the fairytale Little Red Ridning Hood. Inspired by Röyksopp’s Remind Me video by Machine Molle. Animation by Tomas Nilsson
Silicone Soul - Silicone Soul
This is an alternate video version of their worldwide chart-busting single, released on Soma Records, which is now regarded a house classic. It gained them full international recognition in 2001 and catapulted them in to dance music’s A-list and into the conscious of the mainstream. It’s a crappy VHS master copy but we thought it would be important to somehow preserve it.
DJ Trax - Shady
This video was made by Dutch director Roborant and is meant to illustrate the pain and relief and how we try to soothe ourselves in trying environments. The location was a creepy old abandoned hotel and the actress in the clip is Jenny Hsia. Track taken from the Thoughts In Widescreen album out in 2009.
Birdy Nam Nam - The Parachute Ending
Cult illustrator Will Sweeney teamed up with Steve Scott at Not To Scale to put together this very French electro sounding track, produced by Justice. The directors suggest that the clip could perhaps be interpreted as a lost soundtrack to a bizarre, forgotten film. The video was completed wholly in Flash and After Effects. Track taken from the album Manual For Successful Rioting.
