Legendary thrash metal band Metallica return in triumphant form. The Day That Never Comes, taken from 2008 album Death Magnetic, echoes the classic One from 1988’s …And Justice For All and is an eight minute epic opening with chiming guitars building into an all out thrash anthem. The political video, directed by Thomas Vinterberg, sees Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Rob Trujillo rocking out in a war zone which could easily be Iraq or Afghanistan.
