It premiered on September 30, 1958 until it reaches the finale on April 8, 1963 as it classified on Action's adventure series. It starred Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain who's a widower and Union veteran of the civil war and Johnny Crawford played as Mark, the son of McCain. That lived on a ranch just outside the fictitious town of North Fork, New Mexico territory
