Markus Böck of Datteln, Germany managed to break a total of 23 baseball bats with his shin within the set time of a minute on the set of Guinness - Die Show Der Rekorde, Munich, Germany on 31 March 2001. Made of rubber wood each bat measured 81cm long, with a 4.96 cm maximum diameter and weighed 784g.
