In 1974, the Endorois community were evicted from their land by the Kenyan government to make way for a game reserve and tourist resort. From generation to generation, the community continues to struggle for reparation for their loss and restitution to their land.

Over half a million ethnic minority civilians in eastern Burma have fled from attacks of the SPDC - Burma's military regime. In the last year 27000 people were freshly displaced, and 5000 fled to refugee camps in Thailand in the worst attacks in a decade.

The authoritarian military regime in Burma, the SPDC, forces hundreds of thousands of people to work against their will and without pay, on the regime's development projects, as porters in the military, and in other forms of compulsory labor. The International Labor Organization (ILO) - the UN agency that monitors forced labor worldwide - has identified the SPDC regime as one of the world's worst perpetrators. The incidents of forced labor in this video show how - despite its claims to the contrary - the SPDC has continued to use forced labor.
